EDITThis one was climbing SO high in my favorites. It made me kind of embarassed, because I know I can color and ink/outline SO much better than that, now. So I redid it, as I am wont to do for some of my pictures. Geeze. I hope people weren't favoriting it because of the grayish smudgyness...Eitherwho, the orginal can be found here.
Named as such because my un-chibi-savvy sister said they looked like zombies who were eating poor Shikamaru. No! They're not! ...Well, actually, Kin might be...she certainly looks savage. ^^U Okay! Wondering why the lazy bum Shikamaru is surrounded by a multitude of women/girls? Ah, yes, the story is an interesting one. Basically, I find it funny he always has to fight women, yet has slightly (or more than slightly, I guess) misogynistic (whoa, had to look that word's spelling up!) views. Which is normal for a 12 year old, I suppose. Anywho, he always has to fight the girls. So...I drew them with Shikamaru, in various, erm, poses. Temari is sitting on her fan. I think she admires Shikamaru, if only for his brain. And...heheh, I shall say no more, for fear of spoilers. Eitherwho, she looks kinda...friendly, huh? >.> Ino isn't someone Shikamaru has to physically fight (except maybe in training), but she's probably going to be the one who'll he'll end up with, if anyone. Darn that Oedipous Complex. Kin, I don't really know. I didn't really review his fight with her, when drawing this, so I just gave her the neutral position of...her tyring to kill him. Erm. Or eat him. Or something. Vicious... And, finally, we have Tayuya. She also admires his mental strenth, even if she is currently trying to kill him! I think I like her the best. As for Shikamaru himself...eh. I was trying for a different style. I always make him so expressionless! Why?! Oh, why?? And finally, the color scheme. Erk. I absolutly could not get it to look right, no matter what colors I used. Finally I settled on gray tone, and my sister suggested a pink background. I was all Whatever. Hope it doesn't look to tacky! ^^ |
